Final Fantasy XIV A WoW Contender Says Wada |

Square Enix is already starting to hype up the new Final Fantasy MMO, FFXIV Online. Final Fantasy XI Online was a great MMO, and it has been around for going on 10 years now. This sequel is not exactly a replacement, but it certainly is an evolution of the game. Yoichi Wada, the Square President, said that while WoW is tough competition, Blizzard's need to build a full WoW sequel could be a "real test." He went on to say that no company has continuously had a successful number one and two spot MMO. FFXIV is set for released on PS3 and PC, and possibly Xbox360 later. The first real console MMO, more than likely.
